Your first week

Connectors are syncing — now what? Here's what to expect day by day, and what to check so you reach your first real read on an account before the week is out.

Before you start: an admin should have finished Connect your tools and Invite your team. If nothing's synced yet, start there.

Resonant IQ's intelligence pipeline runs nightly, so it gets sharper each morning as more of your history is read and reconciled. Your first week is mostly about letting it catch up — and learning to trust what it shows you by checking its evidence.

Day 1 — the backfill begins

The moment a connector goes live, Resonant IQ starts pulling in your history — read-only, so nothing is ever written back to your tools. The first overnight run does the heavy lifting; expect the dashboard to look sparse until the next morning.

1
Confirm each connector says “Syncing.” A connector that's stuck on “Connected” with no sync usually means a permission scope is missing.
2
Set your notification preferences. Decide now whether you want critical signals by email so you're not refreshing the dashboard all week.
3
Skim How Resonant IQ thinks. Ten minutes here makes everything that appears tomorrow read as obvious.

Days 2–3 — scores and signals appear

After the first nightly run, accounts start carrying health scores and the first signal cards land in the queue. This is where the “fluent isn't true” habit begins: don't take a score at face value — open one and read the conversations behind it.

Open one signal end to end
Pick any card, click into it, and follow it down to the source conversations and timestamps. Confirm you can trace every claim.
Check an account you know well
Find an account you understand cold. Does the health read match your gut? Where it doesn't, the evidence trail tells you why.

Rest of week — your first real read

By now there's enough history for the account timeline and health trends to be meaningful. Use it the way you will every day: prep a real customer touchpoint from it.

Open the timeline for an account with a call coming up and prep it in five minutes.
Scan the Insights hub by color to see which accounts need you first.
Add your own context — a tag or note — and watch it stay in your workspace layer, never written back to your tools.

What “working” looks like

By the end of week one, you should be able to say yes to all of these:

Every connector is syncing, and the account count looks right.
You've opened a signal and traced it to its source conversations.
A health score for an account you know matches your read — or you know why it doesn't.
You've prepped at least one real touchpoint straight from a timeline.

Not there yet? Most gaps trace back to a connector that isn't fully synced — give it another nightly run, then check again.
